These conventional fire control panels form part of a
comprehensive range of conventional and intelligent
fire detection equipment. Compatible products include
heat and smoke detectors, sounders and manual call
points.
The M1, 2 and 4 conventional fire control panels
provide one, two and four zones (respectively) of fire
detection. All panels have been designed to offer high
standards of performance, reliability and quantity and
comply fully with BS5839, Part 4, 1988.
Each panel provides two alarm warning circuits, a
power supply and a battery charger. Three state
detector condition monitoring enables both open and
short circuit conditions to be monitored and indicated
at the panel whilst responding to a fire signal at a
different level.
The system can maintain the operation of manual call
points after the removal of detectors.
The M1 includes an open collector type common fire
output whilst the M2 and M4 feature common fire and
fault voltage free, changeover contacts. An enabling
security key switch prevents unauthorised operation of
the panel controls.
• Robust, moulded housing and steel back box.
• Three state detection with isolate and test facilities on 2 and 4 zone models.
• Designed to meet BS5839, Part 4, 1988.
• Two fully monitored sounder circuits.
• Head removal monitoring with active end of line units included.
• Fire and fault relays on 2 and 4 zone models.
• Space for 72 hour stand-by batteries.
• One cabinet size for all models.
