The Nittan loop driver is a plug-in card for use in the ZX
series intelligent multi protocol fire alarm control
panels. This module allows ZX series control panels to
support input/output points from Nittan’s Sensortec
analogue series (AS) addressable devices such as:
• Ion and photo smoke sensors (Ionisation and
• Heat sensors
• Input modules
• Output modules
• Sounder control modules
• Zone monitor/control modules
• Manual call points
• Loop powered addressable sounders
The plug-in loop driver card provides power for and
handles communications to the addressable devices.
The loop controller continuously monitors the analogue
values of all sensors and displays this value on the
control panel as a percentage of the alarm threshold
value. Both the alarm and pre-alarm threshold levels
can be adjusted from the control panel if required.
• Compatible with ZX series intelligent multi protocol fire alarm control panels
• Provides one class-A or class-B loop
• Supports Sensortec analogue series detectors and modules
• Plug-in connection
• Double address detection
