The telephone modem is an industrialised dial
and leased line modem that can be connected to the
public telephone network with approvals for use in
many different countries around the world. The unit is
designed for industrial use, has a watchdog function
and is galvanically isolated to provide reliable
communications in harsh environments. Terminal data rates of up to 57,600 bit/s can be handled using data
compression and error correction.
• RS485 or RS232 interface
• Dial-up or leased line (2-wire and 4-wire)
